Lewin G. Joel Jr. School is a public lower-elementary school located in Clinton, Connecticut. Joel serves grades Pre-K to 4 with the primary goal of providing children with a strong academic, social, and emotional foundation. Here, instruction is designed to be developmentally appropriate to meet the needs of the diverse learning styles of primary-aged students. As part of this goal, Joel offers a NAEYC accredited preschool, full-day kindergarten. Joel students’ core instruction is in reading, writing, and mathematics; additionally, students are provided important foundations concepts and skills in Spanish, physical education, art, music, and library. All of this and more provide students with a strong foundation on which to build their academic future.
