Jump Start Preschool
Jump Start Preschool is partially funded through the CT Smart Start initiative and designed to meet the needs of preschool-aged children at-risk due to economic or cultural disadvantages. Children that meet income guidelines will be given priority placement. Other applicants, regardless of economic factors, will then be selected. Instruction is driven by the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (CTELDS) and guidelines from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
The program is supplemented with the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Splash into Pre-K curriculum, Handwriting Without Tears, and Second Step.
Sessions: 8:46 - 3:15 Monday through Friday
Fee: Tuition determined by placement on the sliding scale. We will also accept payment through Care 4 Kids (www.ctcare4kids.com). Priority is given to students that meet the requirements outlined in the CT Smart Start grant.

Inclusive Preschool
The Joel Inclusive Preschool program is designed to meet the needs of preschool-aged children with disabilities. Children that demonstrate developmentally appropriate skills may be selected to participate as peers in the program. Instruction is driven by the Individualized Education Plan goals and objectives of identified special needs students, the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (CTELDS), recommended practices from the Council of Exceptional Children Division of Early Childhood, and guidelines from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
The program is supplemented with the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Splash into Pre-K curriculum, Handwriting Without Tears, and Second Step.

PM 12:30 - 3:15 M, Tu, W, Th, F
Fee: Tuition to be determined.
There are up to 10 peer slots available. Students are selected based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, gender, age, language skills, and behavior.
