Officer high-fives a student The language arts curriculum is supported through Readers and Writer's Workshop. Central to the workshop model is the mini-lesson during which the teacher teaches the students a skill or strategy through demonstration and direct instruction. Students then work in small groups to apply their new learning. This is also when teachers conduct small groups (often determined by specific needs and/or abilities) and individual conferences with students.

The mathematics curriculum is supported by the Envisions program. Currently two teachers per grade level are piloting the Bridges in Mathematics program which will be phased in over a two year period. Instruction is also supported through a workshop model.

Clinton has adopted the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and has join the Capital Region Education Council consortium of districts that have collaborated to create learning bundles to support a hands-on learning experience for students.

Social Studies Curriculum: Students study a variety of topics concerning history, geography and government of the United States.
